Our coffee is locally sourced from experienced roasters with more than 30 years of expertise crafting their own signature blends. At Café Beignet, we proudly continue the New Orleans tradition of serving chicory coffee—first introduced by the French when the city was still a colony. Chicory, a plant roasted much like coffee beans, is prepared separately and then blended with coffee to create a bold, distinctive flavor beloved by locals and visitors alike.
Since 1990, Café Beignet has grown to four locations throughout the French Quarter, with another opening soon. Each location offers its own unique experience, featuring live jazz, handcrafted cocktails, outdoor seating—including pet-friendly spaces—and classic New Orleans dishes that perfectly complement our famous beignets.
